Fundamental Foundations of Rope Rescue 
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

We believe this to be the most important class we teach.  Without a firm foundation to build your rescue program on, your rescue house will eventuallly crumble to the ground.  We provide students with an understanding of not only what to do, but also why they are doing it.  We lay out the fundamentals that will be used in all technical training from confined space, technical rope rescue, to building collapse and trench rescue.  We are told by our students, that this course exceeds what most other companies consider their "Technician" course and we agree with them.

Topics Covered Include: Size-up, hazard recognition, scene managment, ropes, knots, simple anchors and systems, equipment inspection, equipment uses,  equipment tracking, PPE, descension, lowering, raising, etc. (Download Outline of Topics).

Class Requirements: A willingness to work hard and learn the concepts of rope rescue.  Students only need to bring clothes to get dirty in, coveralls work great, and sturdy footwear (no sneakers). No prior knowledge or experience necessary.
