This
rope class is designed to give
departments the down and dirty
that they need for everyday operations. Highlines are fun to
build, but how often do you
use that on the fireground? This class
covers a broad range of
topics from Firefighter Survival to Large Facility Search Utilizing Rope to Low
Angle Basket Operations. Rope Techniques for Firefighters is the one class that every department needs to bring to their firefighters. The matierial in the class has been designed to be easily remembered and duplicated, key factors in training career, mixed, and volunteer departments. It is the meat of your meat and potatoes fireground operations. There is no fluff in this class.

Fundamental
Foundations of Rope Rescue
We
believe this to be the most important class we teach. Without
a firm foundation to build your rescue program on, your rescue house
will eventuallly crumble to the ground. We provide students
with an understanding of not only what to do, but also why they are
doing it. We lay out the fundamentals that will be used in all
technical training from confined space, technical rope rescue, to building
collapse. We are told by our students that this course exceeds what most
other companies consider their "Technician" course.

Operational Rope
Rescue Concepts
With a firm foundation formed, we
start to build the frame work that brings the rescue house
alive. In Operatoinal Rope Rescue Concepts, students begin to apply the fundamental elements
of rescue as this scenario based learning forces them to look
at the big picture. The class starts with walk through
teaching scenarios and finishes with full scale student action scenarios.
It is one thing to sit and learn
about rope rescue and a completely different
one to apply the concepts across a broad range of applications.
Scenarios, concept briefs, critiques, and feedback make this an intensive learning experience
for all those involved, instructors and students. Don't be fooled
this is the most advance operations class you will
ever take.

Advanced Rope
Rescue Techniques
Students should
have a firm grasp on fundamentals and operational
concepts before taking this course. We take that understanding and begin
to put new tools in the tool box of the advanced rescue technician. This class will help students move past the basic concepts and learn to apply and improve upon what they have already learned. If you don't have a rock solid foundation, this class will eat you alive. This is not a class for the weak skilled student.

Progressive Rope
Rescue Theories
This is the place where we
question everything. Nothing is left untouched our
questioned. Mathmatical theories, applications, strengths,
myths, and past practices are put to the test. This is the
doctorate class of rope rescue, born in the labs of each core of participants. This is the place where changes take place and the rescue world evolves. DO NOT take this class if you are not prepared to hit the books and study or if you feel uncomfortable questioning every past practice. This class will fry your mind.

Confined Space Technician
What
makes this class different is the intense scenario based training
that takes place after the book work is complete. For those
completing classroom before we come, this class is 50 hours of hands
on, all out training. For those needing classroom as well, the
class is 80 hours and involves a more in depth look at the
processes and paperwork involved in confined space. (We
are able to help some agencies receive IFSAC and Pro Board
certification for this class. Contact us for
details.)
